Sporting Lisbon reportedly remain frustrated with the structure of Bruno Fernandes’ proposed move to Manchester United.

United are eager to finalize a deal for the midfielder, who featured in Sporting’s clash against Benfica on Friday.

The deal to take Fernandes to Old Trafford would involve United paying an initial fee of £34million in addition to a potential £25.5million in add-ons.

However, as reported by The Sun, Sporting probably wouldn’t receive the full amount of £60million as some of the bonuses relate to events that seem rather unlikely to occur.

For instance, some bonuses are dependent on United winning the Premier League and the Champions League.

There would also be payment if Fernandes was to win the Ballon d’Or.

With those three scenarios rather unlikely to happen in the near future, Sporting are aiming to get a larger initial fee from United.

Sportsmail understands Fernandes has already agreed on personal terms worth around £130,000 a week with United.
