It will be recalled that during the Just ended National Delegates Conference of the Ruling New Patriotic Party, NPP at the Central Regional Capital, Cape Coast, the President HE Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo Promised Ghanaians again about his commitment in the fight against Corruption in General and His appointees in particular.
The call by President Akuffo Addo seems to Lack the force it ought to have carried, especially coming from the Commander-in-Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces.

Irreconcilably to earlier claims in sections of the Media that New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Assin North, Hon Kennedy Agyepong was invited by officers of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service to substantiate allegations against some unnamed presidential staffers, the MP has stated that NO ONE has invited him. The MP Continued that even if such invitation existed he will not honor it.
“Nobody has called me to come to the police station; I am not a thief or have lodged a complaint with the police?….even if they call me I won’t go.
I will even go and take my evidence from the police”, he opined on Oman FM’s Boiling Point on Thursday Night.
“I have never given any evidence against Ursula that she has taken bribe;
I have never given any evidence against Asenso or Abu Jinapor so who is saying this?
If the police are not careful, the way I will treat them, they will regret. I believe the police are setting their own agenda because they were even asking me if I have any information on Abu. Nobody has invited me”, he told listeners.
Hon Kennedy Agyepong in an attempt to name and shame Corrupt President Akuffo Addo Appointees, last week accused unnamed staffer at the Flagstaff House which doubles as the Office of the President and the Official seat of Government. They were demanding whooping Twenty Thousand Dollars( $20000) from an unnamed investor before allowing the person to see President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, he told Oman FM’s Boiling Point Listeners.
Failing to tender in any evidence to back his allegation, Hon. Agyepong said those who have consistently not agreed with him for speaking the truth should bare in their minds that he is not ready to stop talking because the truth is what will set him free and his Party Free.
“Those people( NPP Members) who say I talk too much cannot stop me because they don’t provide me with oxygen to breathe,” he added. “I will speak until I die.”
