Executive Chairman of Ghana Premier League outfit King Faisal, George Amoako has confirmed the Insha Allah boys will be staging their home games at the Nyinahin Sports complex when football resumes.
The Green and Whites have characteristically hosted their home games at the Baba Yara Sports stadium but it appears there will be a paradigm shift Infrastructure-wise when the 2020-2021 Ghana Premier League kicks start.
The Kumasi-based side are angling for a move to Nyinahin, were they want to make use of the ‘almost complete’ Nyinahin Sports complex instead of their traditional home, Baba Yara Sports stadium.
Speaking on Kumasi-based radio station Fox FM, Mr. George Amoako confirmed that King Faisal have chosen to play their home matches next season at the Nyinahin Sports Complex.
“It is likely we [King Faisal] will play our matches at Nyinahin, there is no turning back even if Baba Yara Sports Stadium is ready for use”, Mr. Amoakoh said.
The Black Stars Management Committee Chairman revealed that his club has began evangelizing about the club to the community of Nyinahin in order to mobilize supporters to make the club a force to reckon with when football resume in the country.
“We have started mobilizing supporters at the area [Nyinahin] and surely King Faisal will be a force to reckon with again”, he concluded.
