APC Founder and flagbearer, Mr. Hassan Ayarigah says even though he went into exile in 1979 because of the late Jerry Rawlings, he feels it was a necessary evil that set Ghana on the road to democracy.
He says the late Air Force man led a life in private and public life that needs to be emulated by politicians
He also made time to recall some fond memories of the Late Former President Flt. Lt. Rawlings.
Also, Founder of the Ghana Union Movement (GUM), Rev. Christian Andrews alias Osofo Kyiriabosom says the Late Former President Flt. Lt. Rawlings is the perfect example of what Africa needs.
According to him, his sacrifice and selflessness for the good of the country has given Ghana the freedom it enjoys today.
He further lamented that, politicians of today must aspire to follow in his steps, while urging families who still feel embittered by some of the actions of the Late Former President, to forgive and move on.
